Bird Seed Sale

Each fall, New Hope Audubon holds a Bird Seed Sale for fund-raising. All profits go toward fulfilling our mission to promote the conservation and enjoyment of birds, other wildlife, and ecosystems, focusing on Chatham, Durham, and Orange counties. Last year, our proceeds helped to fund the following activities: the purchase of land to expand the Mason Farm Biological Preserve in Chapel Hill, providing scholarships to send area youth to summer nature camp, maintenance of our Wildlife Observation Platform at Jordan Lake, educational programs at local libraries, 6-8 public bird walks per month, and citizen science projects like our annual spring and Christmas bird counts.

Our bird seed sale is over for this year. Check back next fall for our 2022 sale.
